At Let’s Be The Change, we have a developed understanding of the multifaceted challenges that affect underserved communities within the Inland Empire, specifically addressing the unique hurdles faced by unhoused individuals. In our upcoming campaign, our objectives are to attend to their immediate needs and to provide essential support that extends a lifeline to those individuals who are most in need.
During the month of December, we are going to be collecting non-perishable food items and new, or gently-used, clothing donations. Your donations can make a significant impact in the lives of these families. In addition to food and clothing, we are collaborating with Sahaba Initiative and assembling hygiene kits to ensure that essential personal care items are accessible to those in need. Any monetary donations made this month will help directly towards this campaign.
To make the contribution process as seamless as possible, LBTC is placing donation bins at various locations in community centers:
City of Knowledge School– Pomona, CA
Institute of Knowledge – Diamond Bar, CA
UCR MSA/ABSA (Meditation Room)– Riverside, CA
Ahlul Beyt Mosque – Pomona, CA
In our commitment to reach as many individuals as possible and establish accessible donation points, we are forging partnerships with different nonprofits, Islamic centers, and university clubs. By uniting with these organizations, we plan to increase our impact and provide nearby locations where a wide range of communities can contribute.
LBTC’s goal with this campaign is to alleviate some of the financial burdens borne by underserved communities and families in need. We believe that by uniting as a community, we can be the transformative force these individuals need. Your support holds immeasurable value in achieving this mission, and together, we can create meaningful change in the lives of those most in need. Let’s be the change they need.
